Re: 4C Innovations bunk guide system

This looks great. I would do this tomorrow. Just wondering where you got the Posts and how you have the 2x4s attached to them.

Thanks

Re: Ok...pics of my new home made bunk guide system..I hope!

Ryan here is what I measured on the trailer guides: On the front supports I used a 20" length of 2 in. square tubing for the upright and 10" piece for the foot which when butted and welded to the upright makes a 12" foot mount. The brace is about 12" and I fit it to an angle that looked good to me....

Re: Ok...pics of my new home made bunk guide system..I hope!

Ok dokie, here we go. I am going to try my hand at the photobucket thing. These are pics of the new home made bunk guides I built. They are a knock off the the 4c innovation product, except they are rigid built from 2" square tubing and smaller tubing for the bracing. All this stock I had on hand s...

Re: 4C Innovations bunk guide system

Looks Great. Just curious what the total length is. Also what is the height in the back compared to the front?

Thanks

I'll do a review in the review section as the install is finalized and testing begins.
Hey did you get them installed yet? If so how do they work?
I'm thinking about building something similar

Cutting plastic

Just curious what everyone is using to cut the plastic bases and plastic helm?
I'm going to be installing speaker in the seat bases and need to cut out spots in the helm for a switch plate and stereo.

Re: 1992 Vibo Recarpet

Finally an update. Pretty much all done except I will need to replace the vinyl on the sundeck and bathroom door to match the new vinyl.
Ended up removing all the pin stripping and painted the fencing....what a PAIN.

Re: 1992 Vibo Recarpet

Yes I did glue it down but only around the out side and two strips down the middle. Plenty of furniture in there to keep it from moving around.

Re: 1992 Vibo Recarpet

Ended Up cutting the welds on the 4 corners to get those off. Now I need to find some sort of bumper caps to put over them. Carpet is in. But now I'm in a holding pattern. Some of the wood structures of the furniture was rotted out. So I decided to order a new interior. It should be here Friday or S...

Re: 1992 Vibo Recarpet

All the corners are welded. You can see in the one picture I can pull the trim away from the wood but only in the middle areas. when I get close to the corners there is no give. It wont just lift up either as there is a lip where the wood floor slide into the trim. As for the Glue there seemed to be...

Re: 1992 Vibo Recarpet

Im still stuck trying to get the aluminum trim off.... Its all one piece welded together. The middles pull out but the corners don't wanna move. There are no rivets that I can see. Im wondering if I'm gonna have to cut a weld and have someone weld it back for me.

Is there a secret to getting the outside aluminum border off I don't seem to see any screw holding it down.

Getting there. The corner seat and frame was rotted pretty good.
