Hello from NORTH Carolina...

#1 Post by douglasnc » Wed Dec 19, 2012 7:17 pm

I'm Doug and i'm new to pontoon's, so I hope to learn alot from you guy's and hopfully not wear out my welcome.Have been reading alot of the post here and have questions that I bet you all can answer.Have had several runabouts, but my wife has health issue's that call for an easier to board vessel. She loves to be on the water fishing and watching the grand kid's play ;and a pontoon seems like our best bet..This is an older boat that needs some work and furniture, but were going to get it going and hit the water soon I hope. It's been a while since we were able to go out and we're ready.

Welcome!
Sounds like you both will really enjoy the toon.
There is a lot of good info here so just ask away and you should find something that will help you.
I often wonder if Jimmy really did crack corn, and why should I care?

Doug, welcome to the forum, and let me just say the guys on this board are OUTSTANDING. Never owned a boat in my life til 2 years ago when I bought a toon rigged for fishing. I couldn't even back the damn trailer down the launch very well, much less know all the in's and out's of boating... but every issue I've run into, these guys have helped me thru it... if you have any questions, just fire away.. it's a sure bet that someone on here has been there and done that.... and again, welcome.
