Miss Kelley

#1 Post by robertm » Tue Mar 31, 2015 5:13 am

Well at long last here she is. It’s been a long process getting here. We started looking at pontoons a year ago. Couldn’t be happier with the final result though.

She’s a 2015 Berkshire 253 RFX Super Sport. Powered by a Yamaha F200LB w/ Seastar power assist hydraulic steering.

We have only been out on the water about 2 hrs so far. Spent about 8 hrs on her in the driveway on Saturday night with a bunch of neighbors! Kids are over the moon and we will make a lot of great memories with this boat.

Here’s what you really care about: :biggrin2

Congratulations !!! Nice to see another Berkshire on here !

What did they put on for a prop? I've got the same engine.

My dealer initially put an alum 14.5 X 15 and I had them replace it with the Yamaha Reliance SS 14.5 X 15.

Enjoy all the fun. We've only got 3.5 hours on ours since mid Nov when we took delivery. Hopefully the weather will get back to normal Spring as we go to the lake next week.

Thanks very much for all the kind words!

Yes we do live in TX. In the DFW area. Lots and lots of lakes less than an hr drive.

Not sure on the prop, it's SS but that's all I know. I plan on finding out Friday when I'm over at the boat shop. Best I saw out of it on GPS was 34, I played with the trim just a bit and saw 35. I'm a little surprised though, thought I'd be closer to 40.
