I am not a new to boats, but have started looking at a pontoon to leave at the Fl house so I do not have to drag the Whaler back and forth.
What I am thinking is less than 20ft and an open bow for shrimping. Big plush seating is non required I am thinking movable deck chairs.
There are a lot of boats in Fl that the sun has baked, sitting and just plain rotting into nothing.
Any how it will be a couple of years before we buy, but you never know...

Welcome to the club.
I would hate to tow a boat up and down I-95.

One year at night I had a car pull up next to me!
"You know ya got something smoking back there!"
It is amazing how quick you can change a tire if you are prepared to do so....
Finally bought a house so the years of driving the class C back and forth are almost done!
Next is to build a car port and as big of a garage as possible.
Then on the hunt for a toon for the winter months.
