Hello from Texas

#1 Post by mossjer » Tue May 24, 2011 8:57 pm

So, a few months ago my wife says we ought to buy a boat. Well this is something I've wanted for 11 years. I grew up on cabin cruisers and sail boats with my dad. I was shopping for a boat many years ago, that boat turned into our 3rd child. I was a little coy about it but she had no idea I was looking full boar. :devillol After several weeks of looking I ran across a rental boat at our local marina. It was beat up visually but mechanically sound. 2007 20' Voyager 50hp Honda. Just the size and power I was looking for to go with our family of 5. I came home from a Boy Scout camping trip with my son and suggested we run over and look at it. I bought it that day. :nutkick It's not the most attractive boat on the lake but we have done quite a bit of work to it. Replacing vinyl flooring and cleaning up everything. I just wanted to say HELLO!!! and let you all know how valuable this forum has been in the last 2 months. Thank you all

Welcome! Our family was in the same situation. Rented a pontoon a couple times for the last few seasons and took the plunge on getting one! Still waiting to get her in the water for the first time, but it'll happen eventually.

There are several methods that will work, but here is mine. Quick and easy once you get the hang of it, and it dosen't take any memory from your PC.

Step 1 - Go to http://www.imageshack.com

Step 2 -Click on the image resize dropdown box and select 640x480 or 800x600 (both are okay)

Step 3 - Click on the Browse button and find the photo that you want to resize.

Step 4 - Click on the UPLOAD NOW button.

Step 5 - Find the box that says Forum Code...highlite and copy the code

Step 6 - Paste the code into the body of your post...not the attachment section

Step 7 - Hit Preview to make sure it worked...then submit your post or upload more images.

Step 8 - Go back to image shack and click the Media Upload button to do another photo.

This is what 640x480 looks like.
