Hello for the great state of Texas

#1 Post by jim0149 » Sat Jun 23, 2012 3:21 pm

Hello all for Jim & Elvia, we just purchased our first ever pontoon. I have owned boats 40 plus years, but this if my first pontoon. We have a 2012 Sunchaser DS-22, fish-n-cruise. Its powered by a 2012 Mercury 90 hp four stroke. We picked up the boat Thursday the 21st and had it in the marina Friday the 22nd. I sure have a lot to learn. What a job just getting it here, putting it in a slip, and securing it. It took most of the day Friday so we only have pics of it on the trailer. Hope to soon have pics from the lake.

Jim

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking boat!
If you are worried about scratching it up, just get something sharp like a can opener and put a mark someplace on the boat and then you'll quit worrying about it!

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome.

We are in the DFW area of Texas.

We will be keeping the boat at the Captains Cove Marina on Lake Ray Hubbard.
