Another newbie

Another soon to be newbie. Finally decided to down size my 30 ft cabin cruiser, getting to much to take care of and towing an overwide on a tri axle trailer can be interesting. Ordered a 2015 Silver Wave 210 LP with performance package and 115 Susuki. I wanted to keep the boat light and only need a single axle trailer with no brakes since most use will be salt water. It is the twin toon with 5 inch lift strakes on the full length inside and outside of each toon, sealed alum underbody, hyd steering, saltwater package, vinyl deck, slide out cooler (neet option can slide out the outside of the boat) lowrance GPS/FF. Have had power boats my entire life and got hooked on pontoons this summer. My friend upstate NY has a toon and I took it to Lake Placid and Saranac Lake and had a blast. I am down in Fl but have a Camp and property up in NY. Figure this will one day be used up there also. I have two ramps onto Tampa bay just miles from my house and am looking forward to spending a lot of time on the water cruising and sunsetting. My 30 footer was a great boat to stay on for a week and cruise but at 1.5 mpg got pricey. Dealer said he sold one performance package like mine with a 90 and hit 36 MPH, figure with the 115 maybe 38-40 with a nice cruise 20-25 MPH. I know Blue wave fishing boats are top quality and I looked over this boat closely at boat shows to others toons. It looks very well built and has a nice lay out. Looking forward to it arrival in hopefully 2-4 more weeks. Been almost 4 weeks and boating withdrawal is killing me.

Welcome! I envy that you can pretty much be on the water year-round. I guess I could as well, as long as I tilted the motor up and put up a sail to glide over the ice.
