New member from Western NY

Just wanted to say Hi! My family is not new to boating but we are new to the pontoon lifestyle, by the way Thanks to all of you and hours of reading we recently purchased a 2015 Premier Sunsation 230 RF. We should be taking delivery of it any day, I have given up my side of the garage so I have something to play with during the winter. We are coming from an 18" jet boat and can't wait to hit the water on the new triple, looking forward to having room to spread out. We have opted for a slip at the marina on Silver Lake this year to see how we like being right on the water. We enjoy hitting the larger Finger Lakes and always trailered the old boat and we will still plan on pulling the Premier a couple times to do some touring. The purchase of the new boat was pretty frustrating to say the least and there are a lot of GREAT manufacturers out there, we finally narrowed it down to Bennington and Premier both great boats but the Premier dealer was 3 minutes from my house and great to work with. I am a little nervous because I did not go with the PTX package or strakes 
we were really trying to hit a budget and did) but with 4 young children I'm sure there will be tubing and more so I hope it does what we need. I've seen a lot of post say you would be crazy not to at least get strakes.... We spend most of our time chilling out and usually have two families on our boat just cruising( 4 adults and 6 kids on the jet boat... no good)so I really think we will love it.
