New from IL

#1 Post by Dude » Thu Jan 22, 2015 1:31 pm

Hi, long time boater, first time 'toon owner here. Bought a close out 2014 Sweetwater 2286 in November and relied heavily on this site while doing my research. Figured it was time to join and contribute (try to anyway).

I've been on the water for about 15 years and had 5 boats during that time, all glass and all 21' or less. I got tired of the rough ride and all the maintenance that comes with an I/O. I'm really looking forward to the ride of the tritoon and the reduced maintenance of the new outboard.

Here's what I spent all my money on. I'm pretty sure there's a twin to it on here somewhere.

Oh yes, I've been through Granite City. I just saw where U.S. Steel is closing the coke plant down there. Sorry to see that.

I'm in Bartonville (Bartontucky) which is right next to Peoria.
