Congrats on the new purchase!

Buying a boat is like buying a gun safe when it comes to motor...buy bigger than you think you need and as much as you can afford. You won't regret it!

What part of Arkansas are you in? I was born and raised in Fort Smith.

We are in Northwest Arkansas in the Rogers/Bentonville area. We'll primarily be boating on Beaver Lake with some periodic trips up to Table Rock as well.

I drive through the headwaters of the Arkansas River every weekend, going to and from my boat. Fremont Pass / Climax Colorado. Still buttloads of snow up there!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you did your homework and will be happy with your new boat. I lived in Arkansas from '83 - '87 and had a fish-n-ski boat. Loved those lakes, especially Bull Shoals!
