New from Cartersville

Hello!
Just wanted to stop in and say "Hi!" My wife and I are from Cartersville, GA. We just got our first boat, an Avalon LSZ Cruise 2085. We've ventured around Lake Allatoona about 3 times now and are loving it. Once I get my trailering skills up to par, it will be smooth sailings. This forum is great and the information here is invaluable. I look forward to our future interactions!

Welcome to the site. You're lucky to have Lake Allatoona so close to Cartersville. It's a great asset to the NW Atlanta area.
I was out at Lake Lanier yesterday, and pleased to see it at almost full pool.

Welcome from the State of Jefferson,,, you just have to get big TITS (Time In The Seat) to be good at backing,,,,, and if you use mirrors try this,,,, put your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel,,, looking thru the mirrors, you move your hand in the direction you want the trailer to go,,,, you must keep your hand at the bottom of the wheel for this to work,,,, try it good luck !!

Thanks for the warm welcome! My wife and I just got in from Allatoona .. it was a beautiful day until a storm blew in
I saw quite a few pontoons out there so hopefully I waved at all of you!

We were up there from 11:30 til 5. We hid from the storm at Park Marina. Where do you put in at?
