Hello from Lake Lanier, Atlanta

#1 Post by GrandpaJim » Mon Dec 28, 2015 12:13 pm

Hi all, just joined the site. Looking to buy my first toon soon. My requirements at this point are a 24' tri-toon with at least 150hp and rear facing chaise lounges. I have been canvassing the dealers and will hit a few boat shows in the area. Hope you all are having a great day.

The big Atlanta Boat Show is coming up 1/14-1/17 downtown at the Georgia World Congress Center. You'll find whatever you're looking at there. If you're going to be keeping it at Lake Lanier, try to buy from a dealer close by at Oakwood, Buford, Gainesville or Cumming. But don't hesitate to go a little farther away if the deal's right.

I second that Atlanta Boat Show a couple weeks off. Progressive Insurance is a big sponsor. You might try going to their web site as they're pretty good on a few bucks off each ticket if you buy online.
