New member from Michigan

#1 Post by Vikingstaff » Thu Mar 09, 2017 7:21 pm

Greetings Everyone!

My wife and I ordered a 2017 Bennington back in December. We just got word it arrived at our dealership today. Once the ice melts, and we have our dock and lift put in, we will get it delivered (Northern Michigan, so it will be awhile yet).

I have been on the Bennington forums since this past fall, and another member pointed out this forum. I am hoping to learn a lot through everyone's posts. Anyway, thank you for adding me into the group. Once we get our boat in at our cottage, I'll post some pictures of it.

We cannot wait to get it out on the water, and start making memories with our family and friends.

Vikingstaff... congratulations on the new Benny... you're going to love that boat. Several bennington owners on this forum, myself included and we all love our rigs... congratulations and don't forget to post a few pics when you take delivery....

In Saginaw here with a place on Wiggin's Lake in Gladwin. Can't wait for the cold weather to quit and get into spring!

Thanks for the nice welcome. For those of you in warmer weather climates, enjoy your time on your boats. For the others like us, I feel your anticipation for boating season. :drool

On an encouraging note, most of the ice on our lake has melted. When I drove up to our cottage this weekend, you could see mostly water instead of the frozen stuff! :thumbsup

I don't think my lake even froze this year! And yet, snowpack in the Gunnison Valley is over 140% of normal, so the lake should fill, once runoff gets going. C'mon May 1st!
