Hello and thanks!

#1 Post by SpookyAction » Thu Aug 30, 2018 10:59 am

Just a quick note to say hello and thank you already. I’ve been lurking the site since June, reading old posts and learning a ton. I recently moved to the north end of Lake Lanier in GA and the wife and I bought our first pontoon - a 2015 JC Spirit 222 TT, with a Honda BF150. Since buying it in June, I guess I’ve spent a month of Sundays tinkering...fun but my wallet is in pain :lol3

Thanks for the lessons learned already - if any of you are in this area and have any good recommended spots let me know!

I haven’t taken any pics in the last couple of weeks - here’s a couple from when we bought it’ and a couple of in-process pics. So far I’ve added a Raymarine Axiom 9RV, Fusion head unit, Icom VHF, replaced the speakers with JL 7.7’s, and had to run main power to the console/add a fuseblock/etc. Also working on a full NMEA 2000 network to tie everything together (such as the engine info coming through on the Axiom). i’ll try to get some updated pics of the crowded dash this weekend. Still have cleanup wiring to do, but I’m ready for a break... :drink4
