Hello all. I have been lurking here for a few weeks, and finally joined the Forum. I have been a long time member of other forums ( for my cars, BIG Pontiac Fan ), but this is my first boat or toon forum. Sounds like this is a really great group of people, with a bunch of knowledgeable, fun loving tooners. This is my first actual boat, but I grew up on ski boats from the age of 5 up through college. Funny thing is, my wife and I were
maybe talking about getting a toon ( because good friends of ours have a very nice Mastercraft for skiing ) in a couple of years. Well, then we found this one, and couldn't let it go for the price. My wife (Janelle ) and I ( Greg ) are not your typical tooners in the fact that we are both in our mid 20's, and love fast cars and adrenalin rushes. Needless to say, a 26' toon w/ a 90hp motor is not an adrenalin rush, but a very nice break from the hustle and bustle of life.
Enough about me, here are some pic's of the boat, and some w/ family on the boat.

My wife on the boat while showing it to my parents.

Mom and dad pretending to be on the lake already

My wife at the helm, with mom looking over the boat

Myself at the helm, wishing I was at the lake already.

Welcome to you an your family,
Yep, tooning is a different lifestyle, hard to enjoy the scenery when you are flying down the lake at sixty. The great thing is they make toons for about what ever you want to do now. I had a 2 log with a 90 for over 10 years and enjoyed every minute of it. Never bothered me when people would scream by me running 60, I just sat back and enjoyed the cruise. Judging from what I have seen on the partying on Lake Havasu,
Looks like a lot of the younger people are discovering toons, although some are rentals. Enjoy

I have actually been to Truman on several ocasions. My uncle owns a cabin down there, and we used to go 3-4 times a summer when I was in high school, and the parents had a camper and Bayliner. Haven't been in a while, but can't wait to go again.

sweet we will have to hook up some time. We have a camper and some wheelers around lowry city its 90 minutes from driveway to cmapsite from south overland park and then 10 minutes from camper to boat launch at talley bend. There is a gas station at entrance to launch so we just filler up and go..

Very nice setup! You will be amazed at how many new "friends" you will have soon that want to go to the lake and sit on your floating party! Pontoon boats are not just for old folks anymore, I am in my early 30's (and still feel like I am 22)!! Welcome to the group...

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the toon purchase. You will really enjoy it! I agree it's fun to go fast but it's also nice to set back and relax a while... no better way then setting on the lake in the toon!
