newbie from jacksonville florida....gathering info for future purchase 
Welcome from Orlando, I'm on the other end of the St Johns from you.
I want to make at least part of that trip on of these days, their a group that use to make it a 3 day trip from Sanford to Jacksonville with cook out along the way and staying at the motels on the water.
You could take the north or south trip as they had a bus they chartered so you could drop your boat at either end and take your truck and trailer to the other end and the bus would bring you back to your boat.
