Hi everyone. I'm new - thanks for adding me!
I have a slow leak in one of my pontoons and want to purchase a new drain plug in case the old one is damaged during removal. Can anyone help me find the size, material and thread of the drain plug for my boat?
Thanks in advance!

Re: 1995 Sylvan Elite Pontoon Boat
So....my wife and I pulled the pontoon boat out of the water Saturday and found that the drain plug was a square head 1/2 inch plastic plug. As soon as I tried removing it, it crumbled and the pontoon drained with the rest of the plug still threaded in. While I located and fixed the leak, my wife worked on removing what was left of the drain plug (chiseling out bits). The plug was replaced with a 1/2 inch brass plug. I used aluminum Epoxy to repair the leaking area.
Boat went back in the water yesterday and all looks good.
