hello from Calgary AB

#1 Post by cruiser » Fri Jul 16, 2010 8:42 pm

new to forum, just picked up a 2007 tritoon southbay 925, with a 5l mpi. we got rid of a 206 montery with a 5l to get the southbay and it was the best thing that we could have done, love the stability of the pontoon boat. great for fishing off of we actually use the 5l for trolling and it runs great. anybody else in alberta?

Welcome, I have a few friends in Calgary and should have made the trip up that way, but haven't made it yet, heard all the great things there is to see there and it's on my bucket list.

I would give you the secret Calgary hello sign but then everyone would know it.

Where do you fish, I spend most of my time on the Upper K for big bulls and the lower K just to cruise paradise. Still drag a couple of hooks on the lower but it tends to be a lot slower for fishing.
Check out the link.

Wish I was at Banff right now--104 deg in SE Texas. I highly recommend Alberta Province to anyone--beautiful country and great folks. Would love to go back some day.

Hi there...finally got a chance to get back online. Called the lake wrong last time ( dam small keys), we are on Lac La Biche. Big lake with depths up to 70feet but avarage would be about 30 feet. We have just started exploring the lake and so far the fish are winning lol.We are about 2hrs north east of edmonton and sadly soon will be time to close the trailer and cover up the toon
