Just bought our first new-to-us Pontoon Boat!!

#1 Post by dodade » Tue Sep 07, 2010 3:16 pm

We've been tossing around for a couple years whether to get one or not. After test driving a refurbished one we decided
"We Could Do That!!" (reburbish one ourselves). Shortly, thereafter we stumbled onto one that had been used as a trade in on a motorhome. The RV place had no idea what do do with the darn thing so were very eager to "get it off the lot" :) YEAH for us! We picked up this beauty for 4k (and they even paid the sales tax!!) It needs a engine tune-up, new upholstry and/or furniture and even though the carpet is in great shape I don't like the color...so it goes also! We are hoping to do this all for under 4k. What do you think?

Seems doable, from the looks of it in the pic it looks very clean.

Wow that is really nice. You can tons of refurshed stuff from pontoonstuff.com. I haven't bought mine yet but I have ben doing some research on where to get stuff. It looks like a good place to go for flooring to furniture.
