Hello from Pennsylvania

#1 Post by jimbo753 » Mon Nov 15, 2010 2:57 pm

I just purchased a 2011 South Bay 722CR, and can't wait for the spring to start using it. I've been boating on salt and fresh water for about 25 years, but this is my first pontoon boat. I glad I found this forum so I can get answers to my questions from experianced pontooners. With that in mind, I was thinking of installing 1 or 2 electric anchors with remote switches (bow & stern). and was thinking of going with Minn-Kota. Does anybody has experiance with this type of anchor (good or bad). I'll also be glad to take recommendations of other anchors. again, It's a pleasure to be part of this forum.

Thanks.........Jim

Welcome Jimbo

Seems like we talked about that a while back. Have you done a search for anchors?
