New Bennington owner in northern Michigan

#1 Post by goldnrod24 » Sun Dec 12, 2010 3:58 pm

Long time listener, first time caller!

Friday, I inked the purchase of a '10 Bennington 2275RLi. It's a bi-toon. Much of the discussion here and other sites led to purchase this brand above others.

She's optioned with the extended stern platform/ladder, upgraded stereo/speakers, bow filler seat, tow pylon and sports a Merc 115 fourstroke. I was most pleased with the price and the dealer is in the town where my summer place is located. I will be using her on Crystal Lake (the Beulah one). I am planning to keep my 24' go fast boat to fulfill the need for speed.

I'll be spending the winter looking for a trailer, amps/subs and hopefully a Magma grill.

Here's a pic.

Welcome to the forum and nice toon! Where are you in Michigan? We will be heading up to Traverse City at the end of January to go snowmobiling. Looks like you are really getting the snow up there.

Yes, TC got hammered this weekend; 18" in 18 hours! :drink4

Our summer place is in Frankfort, about 25 miles west of TC on the big lake. Home is East Lansing.

You should find plenty of base by the end of January. Enjoy!

Welcome to the Forum. Nice looking toon. I'm in Roscommon. Just five miles from North Higgins State Park. We got about eight inches of snow here since last night. It's still coming down and the wind is at about 45 MPH with large drifts. It's 12 Dg right now . Here's the latest weather report in TC "Heavy snow cuts power - posted 16 min ago". There are several school closings already. Hopefully it will be cleared out before anybody has to head up this way.
