I need help...Mold on inside of my bimini and boat cover! New boat...Help!

Run to homo depot and buy some JoMax in the paint dept, mix it with bleach, spray and wait , the Jomax kills the mold and the bleach whitens it

While you are in Home Depot pick up some mold armor. The best stuff I have used to remove mold. It is about 6 bucks. Whatever you use start weak an strengthen until you get results. Sometime it takes the harsh stuff to get whatever stain out but it is better to prevent it than have to constantly use something harsh. Cost me over 2k in resale on the old boat to figure that out.

Not likely. The key to no mold and mildew is good ventilation. We keep a small box fan at rear door pulling air out from under cover. Used to blow it in but tended to blow dust, bugs ect.

Yep air circulation and to remove dampness quick as you can. Some things that help........damp rid.........at Home Depot. Another is to have vents on the boat cover (normally where the pole support). Having the fence up off the floor aids also in circulation (think most new toon have gone to this also helps with removing water an debris when hosing out inside the fence). Think there are also solar gizmos to circulate air, no experience there and may be a waste of money. The one I got for the car did nothing. Probably anything that will absorb moisture will work to some degree. Oh and make sure there is no pooling of water on the cover. Once an area starts to pool it just gets larger as it holds more water. If the boat is unattended it will just drip into the boat causing big time moisture issues.
