Hello all, So thankful to have an informative site the find the answer to most issues. Purchasing a 1995 25ft Forester pontoon w/120 force. Boat has been completely restored. Havent seen any mention of the boat here. Looking forward to take it out with the big family. (wife and I have 10 together). Pics to get posted. Question, will this boat/motor combo be able to give the kids atleast a little thrill on the tube? Thanks for any answers that may come my way!!

Welcome, that sure is a big family you got. If you are all on the boat you can pull a tube but won't be able to whip them around.

We try and find a place to unload everyone, then just ride two in the boat, pulling the tubers. Everybody gets to watch the action from shore this way, and more speed and manuverability with the boat.

Just reminded me of when I had the bow rider. Every one that got on headed to the bow. So I would have to direct traffic. Hey some of ya'll get your ass back here.

+1 On the Booster ball, makes a ton of difference.
Also consider a one of Sportsstuffs Doable tubes, they are rider steerable, and let the you cut back and forth thru the wake while the boat runs in a straight line. We have the Slalom solo, and its a blast.
These shots were taken behind the toon we had last year, Premier 225 Sunsation LTD 2 log with a 90 Merc 4 stroke, it tubed at around 18 mph with 3-4 adults and beer n gear on board.
we also have the Big Bertha tube it is a little tamer ride than the Slalom but still a lot of fun.
but was completely boring without the booster ball, the rope dragged in the water and we couldn't get the tube out of the wake, with the Ball it was no problem to sling the tube out of the wake.
