Figured I would throw this on here. Went out to do some early winter fishing with the water right around 50 degrees. This week there was a 9lb 13oz hog caught and a couple of 8lb'ers on Chicamauga Lake. The fish are FAT right now...I had a blast. :nana

You're fortunate to have such a good lake right in the middle of Chattanooga. I'm 170 miles down river from you.

There are just so many cities in the Southeast where you can live the inland lake experience while still have luxuries a city affords:
Nashville--Old Hickory and Percy Priest Lakes
Chattanooga--Chickamauga and Nickajack Lake
Knoxville--Ft. Loudon Lake/TN River
Charlotte--Lake Norman and Lake Wylie
Huntsville--Guntersville Lake, Wheeler Lake
Little Rock/Hot Springs--Lake Catherine, Lake Ouachita
Columbia--Lake Murray
And, many other lakes/cities . . . .

The fishing's also great in all of these lakes.

Ya man, some big ol' kitties! I've caught a 21lb'er. Spurhunter fishes same area and is the catfish king!
Stripers are big too!
