Chris Ward just posted on Facebook that Applegate marina has hired a bartender for Friday night! So for those of us coming down Friday night we are in luck!

This will be our forth year going it's always one of the highlights of the summer. Everyone is welcome and always fun to meet new people.

We thought about doing this on our boat this year. But I don't think my little 90hp would make it on fuel for the return trip without hauling some extra fuel (not too mention how much slower we would be than everyone else). So we were going to go with some friends on their toon. But now everyone has had other things come up so a few of us are looking to schedule a different trip in early August.

You can fill up at Wildcat Marina in Fort Smith! No worries!

I wouldn't be able to make it back from Fort Smith without carrying extra fuel! Going upstream would just use too much fuel. So for now, we'll have to ride with friends with tritoons with bigger motors -- till someday when I can afford to upgrade.

Are you guys towing from Tulsa? Where are you putting in at? I have to go get my boat from Tenkiller Friday evening and bring it back to BA.

You guys have a great time and be safe. Bring extra throw cushions to use as shields from the flying water balloons. Some of those guys don't get the concept of shooting them up high and letting them come down -- they shoot them horizontally and with that force, they can break windshields.

We are towing down friday night and putting in at Applegate Cove Marina. Rented a house boat there at the Marina for Friday and Sunday night!
