Lake Powell Memorial Weekend

First off, thank you to all of the people who have served and died for this great country of ours. Memorial day is for them and for all that I have, I want to thank them.

So we headed off to Powell for a weekend of fun.

We arrived at Bullfrog marina around 1030pm on Wednesday, had a couple drinks and visited with friends. Super funny, we didn't want to head down to Stanton Creek camp ground, so we threw the sleeping bags on top of the Pontoon and slept in the parking lot.

Thursday was a bit interesting to say the least. We had a huge wind storm move in. Boat weathered the storm well, but 2 tents, 3 awnings, 1 pop up tent camper and the side of my truck didn't. But a few bent poles, a couple scratches and small dings, aren't going to stop us. As for the pop up, well we just screwed the canvas back in place and continued about our weekend.

The rest of the weekend couldn't have been better!! Perfect water, Perfect weather.
