Ferg...you need at least a 3" bolt for your transom.

That's what I figuring after hearing feedback. I'm going out tonight to check one other thing so I'll measure just to make sure for the transom bracket thickness. Gonna have to order the stainless bolts through fastenal it looks like.

Don't you have an ACE hardware? Even our smallest location carries them, along with the washers and nylocs.

I owa ya one. I had only checked the big box stores. Just called Ace and they do have them in stock. :thumbsup

Looks like it should work nicely to me like that.... You might want to consider another battery just for the stereo since you'll have an amp and sub.

I may do that as a phase 2, or maybe 3 at this point. Any input on size? I'm thinking 29 bank? bigger = better?
