Ok paint has been delayed until today due to my father in law having to work and being sick. We did however get it primed and painted a light coat yesterday and today he came over and put several more coats of white. The plan is for him to come over tomorrow and add the red on the sides then clear the whole boat..weather permitting since there is a small chance for rain tomorrow evening.... Pics from today

The sides are getting the same red that's on the pontoon with the exception of a clear over it so it should shine a lot more!

Pics pics pics, I've finally got a real update!!! Finally..lol... I got the red sprayed today and I couldn't be happier with the look. The paint is not 100% done we have some touch ups to fix and still need to clear the whole thing so that should give it a really nice shine... We just keep running outta time.. Hopefully well finish up this week and I can get it back on the trailer.

All taped off and masked ready for red!

I think it's looking pretty good, the gunnels or rub rails across the top are going to get coated in the no slip coating that will also be inside. It will be white with hopefully red webbing (splattered paint) on top of it!

Thanks guys, there's a slight possibility we might finish the paint 100% tomorrow but well see. In the mean time I've been stripping the old graphics from the engine cowl and am about to start sanding/cleaning it really good so I can paint it. As soon as paint is done its getting flipped over, put on the trailer and getting the engine mounted.

I do I just forgot to update here, I have this build posted on about 6 forums. I got all the paint finished and got a good coat of clear on it. I let it sit and fully cure a coup,e days and gave it a good waxing.

Image

After waxing I flipped it over and loaded on the trailer, I painted the engine and the following day I hung it and the jack plate on the boat.

I payed all the wiring out in the boat and hooked up the starting battery I bumped the ignition just for peace of mind and nothing...so long story short I bought some new controls, the old ones where a fire waiting to happen

Image

As soon as I run the wiring through a PVC pipe under the floor ill get my flotation foam in and get ready to deck it!

Haha, not yet! I kinda just stopped working on it because of being busy with work and using my toon on the weekend... I'm actually going to get back on it this weekend, I've already got about 90% of the wood cut for the floor but I need another sheet to complete it so I'm going to finish it this weekend along with figuring out what I'm going to do about storage compartments. I've gotta order the stuff I'm putting on the floor also, so I've got a bit more to do but it's all pretty easy to do... I've gotta get this thing done and sold so I can get my new tritoon project!

I've been talking about finishing this thing for awhile now and I'm finally back at it.... I finished the floor today and got it all sealed, I also built the livewell/captain seat....here's the proof

Here's my help

Image

Still need to wrap the floor pieces in carpet, the floor is in several pieces so if you needed to access under the deck you can just remove one section...I need to do the float test to see how it's going to set in the water, so I can see where the 30gal gas tank needs to be placed.. Then its pretty much just wiring everything up and all the small stuff!
