I got a bitch, how can you get any work done with all the goodies to look at !, I got steering cable Tuesday, then today I got 28 boxes, looks like all the seats and bases, haven't even had time to check it all yet, Thursday the decking, two of the Captains chairs, one on back order, three pedestals are coming in, thats most of what I requested and I just ordered it last Friday.

Thank James, Annette and all the good people getting er done at Pontoon Stuff !!!

I'll be pressure washing the pontoon and the fences while I'm waiting for the truck coming tomorrow, then start polishing metal most people will never see, I found the top of the mounts where the wood screwed down to them had some corrosion, so that's got to be fixed so I can get 25 more years out of it.

Got all three Captains seats the decking and the bimini frame and top, that's every thing I ordered and got it all in seven days without a rush put on it and all packed well.

It was like Christmas today, Dad and I started opening boxes that said more parts inside, and they had two seat bases cramed full of parts, my brother was asking why the bases were so heavy :rofl, now we know.

We opened up boxes for an hour, Dad said I'm glad I stopped by, that was fun, like I said they did a great job at packing and not a thing I found yet has been damaged at all, great job done by people at Pontoon Stuff.

I'll add some pictures to this after I get home in four hours or so

It nice to know there still things worth restoring and you don't have to throw every thing away, and my Grumman will come back to life better than it was leaving the factory.

New boat without all the payments, Thank You Pontoon Stuff

I couldn't take the pressure anymore, the last time I polished the toon I was off on sick leave for two months and didn't have the job to keep up with, I was younger and in better shape, even with the back hurt, but this time since I have something I need to get done, all my customers are having emergency's I can't put off, not if I want to keep them.

So my brother and I headed to Wildwood to by the Chroomshop on 75, they have all the truck needs you want, we got it acid washed for 50 bucks and then took it back to the polisher behind him, for 800. he will do the polishing, they know all the tricks, have all the equipment and can get done in a few days it would take us longer, besides we have to fence to work on.

We were offered even a better job if we found them a jar of Kentucky crick water, so we said no problem, we didn't want to pay 425 a piece to have it polished, but I told him we can make that money back in less time then it would take us to get it polished, got a quarter of it back in two hours this morning.

Here it is after acid washing, looks better already, cleaned up dirt that hasn't been seen in a long time, when we came up I expected to see a bunch of mexicans, but only a black guy was working, well he was black till he cleaned up some, then he turned white again and I dam sure won't miss that.

We got back and starting cleaning the fences, the toon brite done a lot of it and in the last picture you can see where we used some 500 grit paper to clean it up, it worked good, so we know we can get that done and looking good, we will be ready to start going back together next week, I can hear the water hitting the toons already.

Herb did you get pedestal with slider? I did and when I mounted it to seat I pulled bolts from the black plate and attached slider to all the holes that line up. I have 8 bolts holding it to seat base. Only issue was 3 of the bolts holding plat to seat somehow were galled and I had to use 1/2 socket drive to twist 5/16 bolts off. I went to Fastnal and got new bolts and lock nuts. The adjustable pedestal raises high enough it can be used as a stander almost. I set mine half way for perfect height.
