Well, Herb. I just found this post on your Toon Restoration. I am sitting in Guam at the moment, but when I get back to Cocoa, Florida, I hope to see your finished project. I told my better half about this, her answer? So what are you waiting for? I told her that I would be spending more time on the toon than with her. All she said was 'Promises, promises" LOLOLO :nana :lol3

So the question I have is why you did not unrig you motor yourself? :donno

I did take the old one off and was going to hang this one, but the boat guy we bought the engine from said he want to hang it and be the first to start it on the toon, then he would stand behind it, so we said go ahead.

Trouble is his brother still works for him and he's not worth a crap, but he's getting ready to go work for Toyota dealer so that should improve the work coming out of his shop.

You can always put her to work on the toon too, we had the whole family in town involved it the project, but when you get back PM me and I send you my number and you can come see it and go for a ride too if you want

No worries, I expect to be home @Late Sept. I will have to get my toon up and running. I just put a new 4 stroke 90 Yamaha on it, put 11 hours on it, then laid it up for 4-5 months. Yes, I will definitely be in touch. Enjoy the ride, now I HAVE TO re-stow mine. :biggrin2 . Later, ED Hall

Gotta admit I'm pretty jealous! I'll be ordering a few items for my toon from Pontoon Stuff in the next few weeks, but it's not going to be anything nearly as nice as this one! :thumbsup

Got my boat numbers and signs in and put on, I was going Grumman on it, but then thought WTF did they have to do with it, so put the new manufactures name on it instead.
