Curtis, Fantastic job. Love it. This is something that I need to do in the worst way. Did I see where you said you won this makeover???

I will tell you what James Meyers the owner of pontoonstuff.com is one hell of a guy. His entire crew is top notch. I have dealt with pretty much everyone of his employees and they are all the same the customer comes first. I still feel very humble about it and almost a year later I go out of my way to help anyone I can if I think they need it. It was blood sweat and tears to get it to where it is and we still aren't done. I still have to do all of my reviews but feel it isn't far to anyone if everything hasn't been water tested. While not everything has been perfect anything that was really wrong was taken care of immediately. That was very minimal and mostly my mistakes.

I appreciate the love, but it needs shared with this entire forum. Everyone has had a hand in this rebuild one way or another. Hopefully we can launch her on the 19th!

Sweet tooning!

Thanks Roland! It's not really that close... a little over 100 miles :? :? We never get down that far unless we're heading on vacation.

Well THE FLOATER is put to winter rest.... She did start up at the first turn of the key though! :nana I let her run for 30 minutes with stabil 2 different times. The last time I pulled the fuel line and let it run out of gas. I hadn't done this before and was suprised it ran for almost 2 minutes before it died. We had a lot of rain at the lake since I was down the last time and the cover had 0 pooling on it. I can't be more impressed with that thing!

There as been a tree that has had a lean toward the toon since we got the place well I had had enough and finally cut it down. Man I feel better about that!

I Magic erasered the seats then 303 protectorant, dryer sheets at every seat cushion corner and a bucket of charcoal, lets hope she looks as good in the spring. ONe thing I realized is I have seen some of you lift up your seats... how many lift them up or leave them down?

No more updates till next year....DAMN! Except for the sundeck I brought home to recarpet....

Thanks for all your guys' help and well wishes! We will hit the water next year!

Can I rub it in, the temps dropped into the 80's we even had a few nights it went down to 64,but I think I'm going to tough it out and take it out this week at least for a few hours just to find out where the fish are, shiners first I love to catch my own, on a fold away 16 foot fiberglass cane type pole, then I can find where the bass are so I can take friends in the future.

Sorry you have to put yours up for the year, but we better see that deck wet next spring :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Craig... glad you got the floater in such good shape... don't feel too bad about not getting her wet this past summer.... because of frequent trips to see the grand baby on weekends, we only took our toon out 3 or 4 times all year...... virtually no time on the water compared to the previous summer..... in fact I filled my boat up back in april or may and she still has better than 3/4's of a tank left... thank goodness I put a good stabilizer in there when I filled her up..... There is a slight chance we will take the kids ( and Cooper - our grandson ) out for a long ride this weekend, but it's only going to be around 70 degrees... don't know if that will be a bit cool on the baby.... I'm leaving that up to my daughter in law......If not this year, he'll make his pontoon debut next spring.... still can't wait.
