Well to start i'd like to thank all the guys here for sharing all thier knowledge , i've learned alot from Reading, Reading, and Reading. I bought this 1997 Sylvan 24' toon, has a older 200 Mercury that my Boat mechanic Friend checked out and said all is good and didnt looked ever worked on, runs great, was doing 30-MPH, but i had a guy here selling a Water glide for cheap and i installed it now im doing 40 -MPH with a 3 blade prop ,will look into a 4 blade after rebuild,i think will work a little better. i have had it for 1 year and now its time to rebuild with all new Seats , console, side pannels , and carpet, and double tops, can anyone give me a little direction, i plan on ordering all my stuff from here at Pontoon Stuff but i dont see seats other that White and red, blue, yellow, etc , i want to go with the black skin and tan seats do they sell tan seats??

Welcome and good luck on the project.

In regards to seats. You can only get the few colors shown. That's the reason I went with custom colors from Veada.

Also, may want to make sure and reinforce the transom as I'm assuming it wasn't ever meant for a 200hp motor unless it was already beefed up.

looking forward to watching the rebuild.

Well i did get too do a little work on her this weekend pulled the old carpet out and wow what a job, but im a hard headed guy and like to try new things i had a friend try the restore 10X and i did the same and wow looks really good , im from way south Louisiana and it was 100* outside in a full sun and this stuff is thick, i tried this on a scrap piece of wood and then tried to scrap it off instaed it pulled the ply's off t he plywood, so i think this will work, and thanks for the seat info we are leaning to the Ivory,Tan, Gray i think thats what ya had on the pics, so here is a few pics and i did get a copuple pics of the waterglide as somme asked, it will be a month before i get to go back home and do more i'll order all my stuff in this time to be at home when i get back ,again thanks to all

Waldo,

Thanks for the idea to use Retore 10X !!!

If the decking on my used pontoon is still good, I may use that to save some money!

Tell me, did you just coat the top or did you do the undercarriage as well?

Thanks again!

Well i got a chance to start the rebuild again and in fact i ordered the same Seats that James sent my a pic of just yesterday , the only thing was a few pieces are on back order until the first of the month. i ordered the Black panel sheeting from pontoonstuff and it came out great, and wow the discount saved me between the seats and other stuff i ordered $400, so thanks for the code. the steering helm will be here in the next day or so so i will be able to mount the steering and controls and start the wiring for lights and stuff before i do the under sheeting so here are a few pics
