I feel so inadequate on any DIY jobs. I have the utmost respect for anyone with those talents. Maybe I should have payed more attention in Shop Class and less in Calculus in school.

Will be like a new trailer, when you are done.

Yep, Tractor Supply sells the old style oil base enamels--and a hardener to put in them to make the paint more durable.

Just don't paint any trailer using John Deere green.

looks good, funny the dealer looked my bran new trailer and said it needs to be sent back to the manufacture and get repainted. I hope it comes back and looks as good as yours. o mine started to rust only after 2 months.

my trailer is a 1987 bear, its 29 years old, and this was the first paint job here is how it looked to start off it was in good shape for the most part the tongue and back had the worst rust, my boat was a trailer queen for the most part .so its 29 years of rain and snow it held damm good.the my boat is slip kept now so trailer sat out in the weather and two years ago i bought a place and made a spot to put it under a car port

the top pic is when i was checking the bunk alignment, i had a problem place that tore the carpet, i thought it would be a good as a time as any it was off bad the string is the center of the trailer i measured from there to each set of bunks
