This reminds me of my Canada Kayak camping / Fishing setup.

It was 8.5 miles to our portage so and we didn't want to spend a day paddling to there. So to maximize the time we spent on our target lake I came up with this setup.

I can attach the boats together into my Kayak pontoon in a few minutes. Load and be underway in probably 20-25 minutes. We then get to the portage and stash are rig and drag these two Kayaks and gear a mile through the woods to our other lake where we camp for a few days and fish. Dragging them is some work but fishing alone on this lake is worth it. The 2.5 motors us over in pretty short order. We have joked about seeing what the 9.9 would push us

Here is my Kayak Pontoon....Patent Pending LOL
