Here is a picture of Console with Flip Flop seat as helm seating. Still not sure I will be using the flip flop for this but right now I think I am liking it.

More pics to come I am putting together the fish chair pedestals but still trying to decide how much space between chairs and rails is needed for them to be able to swivel with enough room for legs.

Wow! Great progress and it's really looking great. Too bad you have two short bases for your 55" bench. My boat has the same thing and it really limits the ability to store longer items.

Man! It's coming along nicely! Glad to see the pics of the bases. I was hoping the 55" was a one-piece base with full storage length. I'll be ordering seats in the next week or so.
Also, good info about the washers needed for the seat backs.

How'd the steering cable run go?

The steering I am about to chicken out of moving the console back 18" after your post about cable length. I haven't mounted the console yet, the reason I was going to move it back 18" was to be able to mount a cooler in front of it but now I am looking at possibly putting the cooler behind the flip flop against the rail, if i do that I may put the console back where it was. I am also looking for space for my trolling motor batteries. Darn 20 footer not quite enough room for everything.

Yes having 2 bases for the 55" seat was not what I was expecting. I wanted the Long base for storage also that was part of what I ordered the 55" for. So now I have to think of another way to store longer items.

Next picture is Fish chair mounted in back of boat the was not enough room to put a 7" arm rest on the 28" seat with fish chair trying to find another option for the arm rest no luck so far.

Nice work! I turned my flip flop into a cooler, but with my drunks on board I always need to stand up! I think I'm going to put locking wheels on it and take off the back making on rolling cooler ottoman.. I have a big captains chair to put there.

Brah....no worries....first reinforce the roof, mount a slide with a ladder. Then! You have a place "beside the new fun slide" to mount a roof rack! Yup...just like Jacques Cousteau would do, ugh maybe not the slide tho...hell...reality sucks at times :donno

Now 1 thing I was thinking was to put a couple u brackets on the outside of the rails to put kayaks...

BUT I really like the slide and roof rack idea :ten
