Hardtop covering
I am trying to figure out a better solution for the hardtop "bimini" (canopy) that is on our 72 Harris. It had a canvas cover when we got it but it was shrunk, moldy, torn, and useless. I have seen several version of hardtop canopies on older models. Does anybody know where to source the sheet stock? I had a brief moment where I was thinking about using corrugated roofing for it, but wanted to see if there was a source for large sheets that I could use with similar texture to the fencing that would actually hold up to this application?

Re: Hardtop covering
My hardtop was made out of the same aluminum as a pick up truck cap, screwed to 1 inch square tubing, finished the edges with channel that you put a cover in to hide the screws. It was supported by 2 inch square aluminum tubes that were bolted to the top and rails , sat on the deck of the boat. May want to try a RV dealer or sheet metal supplier to find some materials like that.
