What about this Sharkhide stuff?

I am reading alot about this sharkhide polish and cleaner here. I have a new toon, still somewhat shinny. I would like to have a nice shine on my toons. Not mirror but close. How much work are we talking and what would be the first steps to a nice shine.

The sharkhide polish is what you want to use, shine comes much quicker than the mother, meguiars and others I have used. The polish is non abrasive so if you have a few blems you want to remove use 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper. You will get a black residue during the polishing, but that wipes right off with lacquer thinner.

I put it on my toon before it ever hit the water. They still look the same as when I got it from the dealer 3 years ago. Very simple to apply. I hand washed the toons to get any dust and dirt off. Poured some in a bowl and used a cotton towel to wipe it on in. I applied it in straight lines the entire length of the toons and worked my way up. You will want to apply 2 coats to cover any spots you may have missed. You will see any spots that you missed after several times on the water. It is for looks only, so I only applied it on the outside of the toons and not under the deck. I highly recommend it. I will be adding another coat this weekend.
