Fairly easy to do, it's in the drive's lower unit. You need a helper to lower and replace the drive though, it's heavy as hell. It's about the same as an outboard otherwise: put shifter in neutral, remove the lower unit flange bolts, drop drive, remove pump housing and replace the entire pump unit. Be careful to realign the shift shaft, reinstall drive.
