The Lake trip 21 days

#1 Post by killerkernrich » Tue Sep 30, 2014 10:07 pm

I just got back from camping in my camper at the lake for 21 days, toon time was great.
Caught a few fish 67 crappie, 5 cats,3 bass & 1 bluegill.
Only one mishap A damm ground squirle (sp) was under the hood of my new truck and when I started it to go to town for some supplies he got caught in the serptine belt and thru it off He was dead :nana
I called AAA had my truck towed to a shop and they put the belt back on $75.00, plus $50.00 for the squirrle removal he was jammed in real tight.
This has happen to me 2 times 3 years ago in my 1999 gas ford 4x4 at the same lake.
So now I honk the horn a few times before I start up.

Sounds like a great fish-fry in the making -- unless you are just restocking your freezer. We are ready for the crappie to start biting again around here so we can restock our freezer. We have cooked every last bag of fillets we had.

Crappie is about as good of eating as there is--fileted boneless. Dip'em in egg/milk wash and roll'em in seasoned corn meal and throw them in the frying pan. Ummm!

What kind'a camper are you spending so many nights in?
