Front boarding ramp/steps
Does anyone have or know anyone who has the front boarding ramp or the 5/7 step ladder that's mounts under the front of your toon? Im thinking of getting the ramp for the dogs but was just wondering what your thoughts were? Any input helps.

Pontoon stuff the ladders, one on my toon, the women like it so they go down a few steps and stand there a while warming the water around them

If you've got room to stow it, there is ..

Before next season, I think I'm going to re-do my stern ladder with one of these. Wife has bad knees and the OEM ladder isn't easy for her.

I have the ladder like it cause it is there when needed but out of the way. Was an easy install and don't know it's there till you need it.

Check this out. It's a product I am currently trying to talk to manufacturers about offering as an OEM option, mostly due to cost and being able to match factory finish. Right now my obstacle is that the marketing types don't like the look of a platform on the front. We have had it on our boat for about a year now and absolutely love it, if you do a lot of swimming or beaching of your pontoon it's awesome.

Let me know what you think, I haven't done much marketing yet and really only talk to local boaters and there are not a ton of pontoon people on the Banana And Indian Rivers.

I really like the concept of it and think it would be great if you kept boat in the water, but we trailer our boat and would be concerned how that would work?

Re: Front boarding ramp/steps
We trailer ours from time to time and all we had to do was adjust the bow stop forward about 10" which puts the stern of he boat a couple inches back on the trailer but the weight of the platform system evened out the Center of gravity and I couldn't tell a difference pulling it, I would estimate the tounge weight stayed the same. Everything else was the same we hook the winch as usual under the bow and pull the extended platform tight to the bow stop.
That is one of the other reasons we are looking torwards new boats, if someone was already at the max length for their trailer they would need to get another one to get the adjustment needed to get a similar tounge weight.

Not very engineered, but it works well and folds up for stowing away in the changing room. Set it on a piece of expanded plastic I cut from a commercial bread tray, keeps it from sinking in the sand/water when we beach up the boat. Good height for stepping up to the deck. holds 300 Lbs.
