Hate this time of year
Really don't like the cold weather and don't like not having a lot of action on the site. I enjoy the summer time being able to read all the new posts on here and being out on the water almost out everyday. When winter sets in water time is cut short and post on the site are almost none. Everyone have a great and safe new year and enjoy what water time you can get.

I know exactly how you feel. But I'm not complaining about the 75 degree day we had last week in the Mid South.
We're seeing some rain and clouds 2-3 days per week right now, and it goes a long way toward Cabin Fever.
Just think how you'd feel if you lived "up nawth." North Carolina winters are short, however.

Yeah, I miss pontooning while the weather is too sucky to get out.
Last year, I didn't take her out of it's slip from Thanksgiving until March, so this year, I brought her on home so I can look at her, clean her up a little at a time. At least the hull won't be in the water growing stringers.
Santa brought me a dual battery marine charger (Gen Mini 2) that's going to need installing. When the rain quits, I can play with that little project.
Happy New Year, everyone!

Re: Hate this time of year
Yep Now that the holidays are gone......that's basically good. The only thing I have to look forward to is my
BDay in a few Days. till march when fishing will begin again.
Actually I could fish now but I hate cold water and high winds together. So I wait until march.
Our winters are just damp and wet and not much fun. So I guess I will hunker down and bear up for a couple more months.

Re: Hate this time of year
Thought about your post while my son and I were walking down the gangway to our slip today to go out fishing. "Son, do you know how many people are pissed off that we get to go out fishing in 72 degree weather?"

Move up north. It's fun in the winter too!
