I only polished the outsides, backs, and the nose cones including the middle toon. It was sitting on the trailer so I polished down to it. I figure I'll have to re-apply the Sharkhide after this season and plan on contacting Clint at Sharkhide and ask him if i need to strip it or if I can re-apply over what's on there. Shouldn't have to re-polish though, maybe touch a spot up here and there. As far as cleaning them now, I just wipe the water off while I'm wiping down the boat. After a couple of trips out, I use a mild vinegar/water solution to spray on and wipe off, this gets rid of hard water spots.

I liked the satin look that our toons had new, so I put sharkhide on before it ever saw water. The toons look as good today as they did the day I brought the boat home. Love the product!

Bruuuuuce , I like the way yours turned out , I think this is what I will do to mine also since I can do it before it ever hits water. Did you wipe them down with anything first to clean them up before you applied the sharkhide?

You need to wipe them down real good with laquer thinner to remove anything that's on them.
