Has anyone ever used a 4 wheeler
to move your toon around in your driveway , I finally got my new boat last wednesday but my trailer was not ready yet, so they let me use one of thiers till mine got here saturday. I have a circular drive but it is very tight on entrance and exit. with my trailer the tounge length was about a foot longer because of the surge brakes, soooo now I cant quite make the corners, and was thinking I could use my 4 wheeler to get me around the corners and then hook back up to my truck , any thoughts or suggestions on this????

If your drive way is basically flat then you can use a 4 wheeler or a golf cart. I use a golf cart to put my 22ft toon under my overhang on my shed and to pull it out and move it around on the yard. It's an electric cart that we use to get back and forth to our dock. I drilled and installed the right size ball on the back foot plat form of my EZGo cart. The tongue weight of my trailer when tipped down to hook up has to be less than 100 pds. Now it's a double axle trailer, a single axle might have too much tongue weight for a golf cart or 4 wheeler.

I used to move my Malibu around on the trailer with my ATV, but it had a nice wheel on the tongue jack and I never let the full weight of the tongue rest on the ATV hitch. Don't let it get away from you though, if there is any kind of hill involved at all, I'd pass on the ATV and just drive the truck in the grass.

Re: Has anyone ever used a 4 wheeler
hey thanks for the replies, I have an almost flat driveway , just enough grade to drain, I will leave the little front wheel down on the trailer so as to keep all of the weight off of the 4 wheeler, will move very slow. hopefully this will work.

I have a Kodiak 450 and have always been afraid to try it beacause of the tongue wieght. The hitch isn't that strong and my tongue weight on the trailer must be over 300lbs. I can't lift it by hand.
