Looking for J-Channel Source

#1 Post by WoodenPontoon » Sun Jan 25, 2009 9:19 pm

I've read about some manufacturers putting some sort of "J-Channel" on their covers as opposed to snaps. Does anyone have this type of fastener on their covers? Any Pictures would be appreciated. Does anyone know where I might find a supplier for it? It sounds like a nice, clean & easy to use method of attaching the cover.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I have a Harris and it has plastic j hooks they are about 4 or 5" long and clip to the rail. They are real easy to get on and off, I have broke a couple of them due to to them being plastic. They seem to be affected a little by the weather (hot/cold plastic). I called Harris and they sent some replacements out. They are just rivoted to the canvas easy install. If I dont see any pics posted I will snap a few this weekend, as the boat is docked at the marina.
