So you can just pump grease in there and not worry about it pushing out the seals and getting into the drum brake?HandymanHerb wrote:I have the rubber caps and they don't leak but if they do all you do is pump in new grease and pump out the old grease and water

Beermunk,
I did the same thing with my anchor lite on my toon the first time I pulled it home. I had the top down and wrapped a rope around it so it wouldn't flap but I still lost the light. Nothing but wires hanging there when I got it home.
Boat looks awesome. Congratulations and Enjoy!

sounds good, then bearing buddies aren't needed.lakerunner wrote:FB one thing Tracker did right on axles was use the kind with grease zert in middle of axle end. Take off rubber plug and grease is all that needs to be done. It pushes out from rear of hub so new grease pushes old out.

Hey beermunk!
Kickass!!! Glad to see you got that baby home sweet home!!!
It looks awesome!! It also looks PISSED like mine does, sitting in the snow... LOL!!
As far as pumping grease into the hubs goes, ya need to do that sloooowly... dont just pump it in there Hard as it will deff blow out the back and get into the brakes.
Just take your time, and it will push the old junk out as the new stuff replaces it.
Congrats again!!!
