New Boat Motor questions

He intentionally moved slowly and talked me through the process in order to teach me what to do and what to look for. Now I pull the boat up on my ramp and do it myself.

I really like those kinds of guys. I've been lucky enough to have dealt with a few.

To the OP. When you are flushing your engine, do you simply attach a hose to the flushing port, or do you use “ear muffs”? It seems that water flow is always lessened when using the flush port rather than muffs.
This is not to say that the previous advice isn’t correct. It is. I just think you might try a different option to see if it makes a difference.
