Congrats on the boat. Looks like you looked at all your options and made the best choice.

My line is that everyone had to figure out the right combination of the following three considerations for any new purchase:

1) What you want

2) What you need

3) What you can afford

Once you figure these things out, you can usually get something that makes you happy. This is also why we so many different selections as each of these factors differ for each person.
