Well, put six new plugs in her and a new coil (Port side - top) and she runs like new!!! Still don't know why the coil failed and I hope no more go South. Thanks for all the help...

I got my running today too, I had two coil packs out, mine were covered under warranty I had to take it 2 hours south to find a dealer who had the coils in stock and would do it today, but he replaced them no problems. Boat runs great now.

He told me that their is a new design/part number and the old ones are a common part to go out. Mercury normally has the dealers replace them in sets.
