WesT.........
to Big to fall ??? If homework was done Bennington is not the same BIG company it used to be. This spring somehow and very quitely, Summit partners ( A BIG COMPANY) got out of the pontoon business and a New company is the owner of Bennington pontoons. The way it reads is a group of management and a VC company from California are the owners. Sadly the Azure boat line was lost and sold off to the owners of Mariah Boats. I have a friend that has an Azure and it sounds like he has no warranty. The BIG company got the little guy, he is out some major dough and lost value. Hopefully the folks at Mariah can make it work. It is a good looking boat.

Do you have any pictures of your new boat that you can post, I would love to see them. Did you get the tritoon model or the pontoon? Which seat configuration did you order? What size was your motor? How fast were you able to run before you touched mother earth with a spot on your boat that nature did not intend to be touched at 20MPH! (I have been there brother!) First week I had mine I screwed up my prop, but it was an aluminum so it gave me a good excuse to buy a SS prop.
Hope to see them soon.

I did have a minor issue though. On the 1st day I hit a rock and singed up the prop and busted the bottom fin. The prop is stainless so it was still usable. I went out the 2nd day and bouht gps. No problems since. I did leave it at the dealership last night because it was leaking oil. Thank god for insurance and warranties. The boat is awsome. I got it up to 36 yesterday with the bimini up and 4 adults 3 kids. It takes the big wakes unbelievably well. I was tottally impresses. My wife and kids loved it. The motor has tons of power and is wicked quite. I am not sure if it was motor oil or gear oil leaking but it was leaving a oil slick everytime we stopped. Hopefully a minor issue. I am having the 20 hour service done while it is in as well as my trim Gage adjusted and a snap replaced. I am a die hard tooner now. Hope you all had a great 4th.

I GOT AN ESP PACKAGE. THAT IS A TRIPLE TOON WITH AN ELIPTICAL CENTER PONTOON THAT IS 32 INCHES IN DIAMETER INSTEAD OF THE 25 INCHES OF THE OUTER TOONS. IT HAS A YAMAHA F150 MOTOR. I LOVE IT, WE WENT OUT ON FRIDAY AND THE OIL LEAK IS GONE,ALL REPAIRS DONE. I LOVE THE BOAT, IT IS REGATTA AND JAVA INTERIOR. THE FLOOR PLAN IS A CRUISER STYLE WITH A BIG SUNDECK AND LARGE 2 PERSON CHANGING SCREAN HIDDEN UNDER IT. THE BOAT IS A VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED PIECE. EVEN THE REAR LADDER IS SUPER HEAVY DUTY AND HOLDS MY 300LBS WITH OUT ANY GIVE OR BENDING. IT HAS WAVE SHIELD AND HYDRAULIC STEARING. THE BOAT IS AMAZINGLY SMOOTH RIDING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOAT TO ANYONE AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT IN A HURRY. BENNINGTON UNDER STAFFED THEMSELVES AND OVER SOLD THERE PRODUCTION CAPACITY. I THINK THIS YEAR IS A FLUKE AND THEY ARE STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP AND CAN'T GIVE ANY GOOD ANSWERS TO THERE CUSTOMERS. THE BOAT ITSELF SEEMS TO BE BUILT LIKE A TANK. THE ONLY BOAT RELATED PROBLEM I HAVE HAD IS SEVERAL BUTTONS COMMING APPART ON THE COVER. I THINK IT MIGHT BE A BAD BATCH OF BUTTONS. I WILL TAKE SOME PICS AND POST ASAP. THANKS FOR ALL THE FEED BACK. I REALLY ENJOY THIS SITE.
