Yeah they made Rick a mod after I was banned at PDB. Apparently, reporting posts, kissing Brady's ass and being an all around douche is what makes you a mod there. :tofunny :nobrady

He started giving me problems after I called SOME (not all) 10 year old motors obsolete due to parts unavailabilty and he got all pissy/offended over it stating he can gets parts for every motor, ever made, at any time in history. I posted a pic of a box of Tampax for him, which he immediately reported to Brady :tofunny

After that, he would get all menstrual every 28 days or so and pick apart my posts and making stupid remarks thus earning the Tampax. :tofunny

I see some emails get bounced back but BFD! Why is that so much to deal with? Delete the account and move on, end of story.

Yep, that's what I do. Sometimes members mistype their e-mail address, sometimes it's spammers.

This could have been avoided with a simple yahoo or hotmail account. The email could be used for Pontoonstuff only, no need to change a personal account. I use yahoo when I do any online shopping as I don't want to be flooded with spam. I don't want to comment on the reasonable issue of the policy. It has been a set policy and has been adhered to and was in effect when he signed up. I will not post any emails that took place as that would not be my place to do. Most of the story is now up and I don't see any Nazi atrocities. Everyone was polite and made their feelings and policies known. :givebeer
I used some pretty strong language in my replies here and wish I had not had to do so. The Nazi remark rubbed me the wrong way and I felt obligated to respond. I bear no ill will towards anyone and hope this issue is now over. :thumbsup

If you didn't agree with the what the Commander said/ordered, you were deleted, that is where I was drawing the simularity to a Natzi. I was angry I had just been deleted from a message board for in my opinion "NOTHING". I can see if I was a problem child that ticked everyone off everytime they posted, but heck I hardly ever post.

Its like someone here said, leave it be and it will quite down... True, I will say my peace and then will go sit very quitely in the back and watch and not say a word.

Sounds like a plan!!! Irony= I don't even own a Pontoon boat but I'm modding at a Pontoon site, sold mine in 2007. :)

I owe you a apology for my remarks. I still don't approve of the Nazi remark. I find it very offensive especially since he is a war veteran. That does not give me the right to let emotions get the better of me. My reply to you was to harsh. I was wrong for that and I apologize.

I don't have a Toon but I do have a nice little fishin boat. It's not real nice right as it is covered in Catfish blood and slime. Been enjoying a little fishing finally. :dance

I usually don't have much to say. So I'll let the pictures speak. Crooked stripes, twisted piping, flip seat that wouldn't flip, trim rings and cup holders were three different colors, what wasn't damaged was junk. Would you put this crap on your tune after spending your hard earned dollars, and time ??????????

Here is my email traffic on this same subject. I hate to beat a dead horse but wanted to show how simple logic apparently can't be absorbed by this guy. I figure the owner should see it as well........

This is my only email address and I have had it for over 10 years. It is NOT a business address. It is my personal investment website that is no fee, nonprofit, not even organized, it is just a bunch of friends that hang out and discuss the stock/commodity markets. I run the site (for no fees, no contributions, all out of my pocket. My only return is good discussions with long time friends) and since I have the server and own the domain, I use that as my personal address as does my whole family.

I have never had, nor do I want a spamming yahoo, hotmail or other generic e-mail address. I have my own spam filters on my server and only want to use this address.

If this is still a problem, I will go elsewhere.

Your call.

Forum rules http://www.pontoonstuff.com/forum/ponto ... 1.asp?PN=1 (part of it) is what you agreed to upon signup. If you don't want to be a member of this site, so be it. May I recommend Pontoon Deck & Boat forums http://www.pdbmagazine.com/fusetalk/for ... ?forumid=3 and another site that also has no rules and this http://www.pontoonforums.com/ forum who also has no rules. You agreed to abide by our rules when you signed up indicating you read our forum policies and rules before you joined. So it was your call. Your account will be deleted since that's your preference not to abide by our policies and rules.

Thanks.

Fine, I will buy my new furniture and supplies at Bass Pro and elsewhere. Glad this happened before I dumped a few grand at your business.

Just a heads up, Nardelli at Home Depot and Sears also learned and know me by name, Never tick me off, I am about to alert every investor ( and yes, they own LOTS of boats) to stay away from Pontoon Stuff. Hope you lose millions in sales. Home Depot and Sears did.

Bye,

Lee

That's fine, but we don't bend our rules on the forum (which is separate from the retail business).

My address is NOT a commercial site. You don’t get it, it IS my personal email address. You are not bending rules, you are trying to force someone to use a Hotmail account which IS commercial.

I have already gone to some other pontoon sites and see you along with pontoon.net ban everyone other than your little clique eventually so I guess I should have expected this. Being the first toon I owned, yours was the first site I found, now after digging around I am seeing more. My email address is a private valid non commercial address.

If the forum is separate, they should have different moderators that can understand a simple concept because this is going to impact their business. I will be sure to let them know why it happened after we get this ban going. Sorry to sound childish but investors are like this when we are wronged. We are the evil short sellers you hear about in the news that take companies down and the best part is it is all legal. Forcing someone to change their email address that is not in violation of the TOU rules is stupidity so of course I am upset. My address is Not commercial and from our going back and forth, you have proven that it is a valid address since I am answering you. Therefore, it is not in conflict with your terms of use. What are you not understanding?

This was never answered and I was locked out. Hence how I came here. Better bunch here and yes, I would think that Nazi fits. Forcing others to conform to arbitrary rules with no logic backing them up. Yep fits to a "T"

Sorry you feel that way. Post was edited as I went over the top in my reply. I don't condone calling anyone a Nazi, especially a War Veteran. That does not give me the right to post malicious things in return and I apologize for my inconsiderate remark.

I'll have to check my account there (I was never activated anyway, I am sure moderator Rick had a hand in that) to see if I used my chesapeakebayboatparty.com e-mail address. If so, I'm probably banned anyway so WGAF.

In all fairness I doubt it has anything to do with your order. I can tell you that the forum has no knowledge of any orders placed unless you tell them on the forum. Privacy prohibits it.
